PROJECT OVERVIEW
The project consisted of upgrading the controls and drives in four of the major flood stations in the City of Grand Forks. These four flood stations work in conjunction with a dike wall built between the City of Grand Forks and the Red River and pump flood waters to the river side of the levee to prevent flooding within the City. These controls and drives are responsible for controlling the flow of up to 100,000 gallons per minute in just one station.
